COYLER Elias B. Coyler, aged 81, a Civil war veteran, died yesterday in his home, 6707 Hamilton ave. He was engaged as a brick contractor. Mr. Coyler enlisted in Co. K, One Hundred and Twenty-fifth regiment, Pennsylvania volunteers, at Altoona, Aug. 8, 1862. At the close of the war he went to Canton, O., and came to Pittsburgh in 1873. He was a member of Post 117, G. A. R., and J. B. Nicholson lodge. No. [unreadable three-digit number], I. O. O. F. Mr. Coyler was a deacon in the Shady Ave. Baptist church.
