She was the widow of Joseph CRAIG and was the youngest daughter of William STAUNTON, a native of Chester, England, who located in Pittsburg in 1818 and in 182? built the house in which his daughter was born and which was her home for many years before her death. In 1847 she became the wife of Joseph CRAIG. Mrs CRAIG had been in failing health since last fall. She leaves eight children - Mrs N C BRACE, whose husband is a member of the firm Brace Bros.; Mrs E E HECK, wife of the Federal street, Allegheny, druggist; William J CRAIG; Edwin S, the attorney; Joseph W, of the Chartiers Oil company; George L, manager of the Mellon pipe lines; Percy L, secretary of the New Castle gas company at New Castle; and Pressly T, secretary and treasurer of the Craig Oil company of Toledo, O. The funeral services will be held at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon. Interment will be private at Uniondale Cemetery. from the Allegheny City Death Records: Matilda CRAIG, aged 68 years, widow, died April 18 1895, hyprostatic pneumonia; born in Allegheny; lived at 68 Church Avenue; burial in Union Dale Cemetery on April 20 1895. >From census, daughters were Mary E (Mrs Napoleon C BRACE) and Matilda (Mrs Emil E HECK).
