Edward A. Dias, a foreman in the power circuit breaker division at Westinghouse
Electric Corp.'s Trafford works, died yesterday in Columbia Hospital. Mr. Dias,
60, of 200 11th St., Turtle Creek, had worked at Westinghouse 40 years and was a
member of its Foremen's, Veterans and Factory Clerks' associations. He also was
a member of the Turtle Creek Fire Department, the Western Pennsylvania Firemen's
and the Allegheny County Firemen's associations and Hillcrest Presbyterian
Church, Monroeville. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Wilkinson Dias, a
son, Air Force Capt. Robert E., a daughter, Mrs. Diane Pribanic; a sister, Mrs.
Cathern Steiner, and two grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.
m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. tomorrow at the John L. Quinlan Funeral
Home; 11th and Airbrake avenues, Turtle Creek, where services will be at 1:30 p.
m. Monday. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Cemetery, Monroeville.
