Latrobe Bulletin Fri, Feb 10, 1939
At Turtle Creek, last evening, Robert M. Dripps, a former resident of Derry,
passed away. He was 82 years of age. Many years ago, Mr. Drippy railroaded out
of Derry and is known to many of the older railroad men. Later he went to
Pitcairn, and following an injury, was a switchman at Wail for years. He is
related to the Dripps family in Derry. Surviving are five sons and two
daughters. He made his home with Mrs. Robert Thompson, of Turtle Creek, one of
his daughters.
