from The Pittsburgh Press dated Thursday, February 20 1890  (page 2):

Miss Alice DOLLY, one of the oldest inmates of the Home for Aged
Women, who died at that institution Tuesday night, was buried from
there at 2 o'clock this afternoon.  She was in her 78th year and had
been in the home for the past 15 years.  She had resided for many
years in Pittsburg, where she was well known.  The funeral services
were quite well attended and were conducted by Rev J F Core, pastor of
the Methodist church, of which the deceased lady was an earnest and
consistent member.  The remains were laid to rest in Allegheny

>From city directories and census records, it is possible that her
surname is actually DALLY and that she was born in Ireland to James
and Julia DALLY.
