DORAN Altoona relatives received word yesterday of the death of James A. Doran, which occurred at his home in Wilkinsburg, on Sunday. He was aged 79, and had been for thirty-four years a Pennsylvania railroad engineer. He had resided in Wilkinsburg for forty-five years. One of the oldest engineers in western Pennsylvania, he was retired from the service in 1900. He is survived by four sons, Liguori J., of Chicago; William D., Dr. Joseph J. and Paul R., all of Wilkinsburg. Three daughters, Mrs. George Kerr, Miss Geneva and Miss Naomi, all of Wilkinsburg, also survive. One brother, Michael Doran, resides in this city. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Leahy and Miss Katherine, of Wilmore, and Sister Liguori, of the Sisters of Mercy, at Cresson.
