HILE, Center avenue, Oakdale, Pa., Friday, February 10, 1922, at 2:20 a.m., after an illness of two weeks of pneumonia and heart trouble. Mr. EAGLESFIELD was born March 1, 1832 at Whymondham Lancastershire, England. On November 26, 1860, he was united in marriage with miss Mary Ann STORY in the Ferry Hill church, Ferry Hill Lancaster, England and to this union was born four daughters and one son. For 14 years he was an employee of the North Eastern Rail Road Company. In March of 1869 Mr. and Mrs. EAGLESFIELD and the two children born in England came to America where for a time they lived in New York City later in Vermont where Mr. EAGLESFIELD was employed in the slate quarry, then moving to Oil City where he worked on construction of large Railroad tunnel, then to Foxburg where he was interested in the coal business, later going to Sandy Point where he purchased a farm living there for a number of years. On January 28, 1892 Mrs. EAGLESFIELD was called by death. For the past few years Mr. EAGLESFIELD has divided his time with his daughter of Florida and son of Oklahoma and his daughter, Mrs. HILE of Oakdale where he has made his home the past two years. He was a member of the church of England. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. HILE of Oakdale and Mrs. BLACK of Dover, Florida and one son, G. W. EAGLESFIELD of Tulsa, Okla., eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. The deceased was a great reader of his Bible and the Daily news, though far advance in years he was able to talk intelligently on the Topics of the Day. He was a friend to all and loved by the children. The funerals services were held Sabbath afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the home of his daughter, Mrs. HILE, conducted by Rev. W. D. LEWIS, pastor of the Presbyterian church. The interment was in Allegheny cemetery, Butler County, Monday, February 13, 1922. *From other mentions Mrs. Ross GRUMLING of Grove City was a granddaughter, as was Mrs. Dewey KROFT of Cleveland
