EATON was killed instantly and WARNER died a few hours later at the West Penn hospital. The car under which they were working was hoisted on jacks. A number of freight cars were pushed against the car, throwing it from its supports. Both men were under the wheels and were caught before they could escape. from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records: Christ WARNER, age 34 years, married, car inspector, died March 25, 1896, in West Penn hospital from injuries on railroad; son of Christ WARNER; born in Germany; lived at and buried in Pitcairn PA on March 26, 1896.
