Pittsburgh Post Gazette - January 3, 1881
ELLISON-On Saturday, Jan. 1, 1881, at 7:40 A. M., at his residence, No. 128 
Pike street, city, Samuel Ellison, in the 73d year of his age.
Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from his 
residence, on Monday, at 2 P. M.
