from The Pittsburgh Commercial Gazette dated Tuesday, March 10, 1896 (page 4):
 
Mrs Hannah EVANS, mother of Daniel and George EVANS, lower Allegheny
merchants, died Sunday at her home, 522 Preble avenue, aged 66 years.
 
from the Allegheny City Death Records:
 
Hannah EVANS, aged 67 years, married, died March 8, 1896, gastric
catarrh; born in Wales; lived at 522 Preble Avenue; burial in Highwood
Cemetery on March 10, 1896.
 
NOTES: From census listings, husband is David and children included
Margaret (Mrs David RODERICK), John, Daniel, David and George. Mary
Ann (Mrs Thomas S WILLIAMS) is a possible daughter.
