Ferber, husband of Bessie A. Ferber, nee Cubbage, died suddenly on Monday, October 2, at the family home on Maurer's Lane, O'Hara Township. Mr. Ferber was in his 51st year. Mr. Ferber leaves his wife, three daughters, Sarah E., Mrs. Leonard Newmann and Betty A. Ferber; a grandchild, Nancy Ann Newmann; one brother, Albert W. Ferber, who is superintendent of Greenwood Cemetery, and two sisters, Mrs. James Warrilow and Mrs. Hugh McChesney, of Pleasant Vally, Sharpsburg. Mr. Ferber was a member of the First English Lutheran Church of Sharpsburg for many years. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Holzheimer and Bock Co., Main Street, Sharpsburg, last evening at 7:30 o'clock, in charge of Rev. D. C. Burnite, assisted by Rev. T. L. Crouse, a former pastor of the First English Lutheran Church, and Rev. A. E. French of the Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church. Following the services the Knights of Malta held their service.
