under article Wrecked In A Fog
 
The first section of the limited express on the Fort Wayne road, due
in the city at 7 o'clock this morning, was wrecked near Wellsville,
O., having been sent around by the Cleveland road. (. . .)
 
Robert FERRY, the Adams express messenger, is said to be more
seriously hurt than first reported. He is an old employee and much
uneasiness was felt at the local office as to his condition. He is
unmarried and made his home at a hotel while in this city.

Robert FERRY, the Adams Express messenger, of New Philadelphia, O.,
and Alex. Frazier, the baggageman, of Bellevue, both died last night
at the West Penn hospital, in this city.
 
from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records:
 
R A FERRY, aged 56 years, single, express messenger, died October 17,
1893, in West Penn Hospital of injury of leg on railroad; son of
William and Caroline FERRY; born in PA; burial in Atglen Cemetery on
October 19, 1893.
 
NOTES: Burial appears to be in Penningtonville Cemetery in Atglen,
Chester Co, PA, with his family.
