Mrs FLANIGAN was one of the oldest residents of Pittsburg, being born on Penn avenue near Sixth street, in 1826. She was a pew holder in St Paul's Roman Catholic Cathedral from its erection to the time of its abandonment. Mrs FLANIGAN was the widow of Bernard FLANIGAN, to whom she was married in 1842. She is survived by her two sons, Frank J and James R FLANIGAN, of the Pittsburg mail service, and two daughters, Mrs Edward O'BRIEN and Sister Marie of the Sisters of Charity of Wilkinsburg; also 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records: Martha FLANIGAN, 84 years 1 month 28 days, married, died April 26, 1904; daughter of Frances and Mary TENNONS (poss TIMMONS), both of Ireland; born in Pittsburgh; lived at 7712 Tuscarora Street; burial in Calvary Cemetery on April 28, 1904.
