Ethel M. FLEMING aged 30 years, daughter of Mrs. Nellie McC. and 
____ J. FLEMING, corner of ... and B___wood boulevard, ... morning of 
diphtheria, in the Municipal hospital. She was a graduate of the Central 
high school, in the class of 1910, and later from the Cornell University 
school of music. For several years she was connected with the music in the 
Pittsburgh playgrounds, was supervisor of music in the schools at Columbia, 
and at the time of her death, was supervisor of music in the normal school 
of California, Pa. She was a member of the Third U. P. church and the 
Tuesday Musical club of Pittsburgh. She is survived by her mother and 
sister, of Bellevue. Miss FLEMING was a cousin of the Messrs. Joseph and 
Walter STURGEON, and as she visited here from time to time, had made many 
friends, who were sorry to learn of her death.
