Fatally Shot in Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH, Pa., December 29. - Mrs. Esmer Foster, an inmate of a 
house of ill fame, was shot and fatally wounded to-night about 10 
o'clock by M. C. Hall, an insurance agent, who claims to be her 
husband.  Mrs. Foster was formerly of Cincinnati where her mother, 
whose name is Wright, is still living.  Jealousy is assigned as 
the cause for the shooting.  Hall has been arrested and will be 
held to await a change in the unfortunate woman's status.  The 
doctors say she cannot recover.
