Harold L. Franks, 86 of Ross Twp., a retired sales representative in the steel
industry, died Thursday at Allegheny General Hospital.
For 28 years, Mr. Franks worked for Oakite Products, Inc. of Berkeley Heights,
N. J.  He was active with the West View Methodist Church and with a variety of
fraternal organizations.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Martin Franks of Ross Twp., and his daughter,
Linda Bennett of Miami.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Orion
C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, 1014 California Ave., Avalon, where services will be
held at 11 a.m. tomorrow.  Burial will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park,
McCandless.
