Mrs. Martha C. Guy, aged 87 years, a native of Westmoreland county, died at her
home in Wilkinsburg, on Saturday, following a prolonged illness. Mrs. Guy moved
to the Pittsburgh district from Mt. Pleasant about 45 years ago. She was the
widow of Richard R. Guy, whose death occurred in 1941. She is survived by a son,
Richard J. Guy, sports editor of the old Pittsburgh Leader and Gazzette-Times,
and a daughter, Mrs. H. E. Dyche, of Wilkinsburg. Friends are being received at
the T. D. Turner Funeral Home, Wallace Ave., Wilkinsburg, where funeral services
will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
