Boy Meets Death in Manila Private George J. GLASSER, Formerly of Bulger, Member of Eighth United States Infantry, Is Accidentally Shot The body of Private George J. GLASSER, of Company B, Eighth United States Infantry, who was accidentally shot and killed June 13, at Fort William McKinley, Manila, Philippine Islands, arrived in Pittsburgh Wednesday, July 19, and was taken to the undertaking rooms of John F. SEMMELROCK, 1720 Carson street, to be prepared for burial. Services were held Thursday morning in the First United Evangelical church, 1720 Jane street, South Side, and interment was in the South Side cemetery. Veterans of the Foreign Wars and members of Protected Home Circle No. 250, of Homestead, attended. GLASSER was aged 36 years, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob GLASSER of Bulger, Washington county. He was in the United States army service for 12 years, having been a member of the infantry for the same period. The body was brought to Pittsburgh by William K.
