Owen GOLDEN, a well-known oil operator was struck by a train at 
Etna on last Thursday, and died in the Allegheny General hospital Friday 
afternoon. He was 64 years old. He has lived in Pittsburgh for the past 
nine years. He began life near Rochester, ... with quite a number of oil 
and gas wells which F. L. HASTINGS of Sturgeon managed for him. He is 
survived by two brothers. One resides in New York and the other is a priest 
in Florida. The brothers took charge of the body, which was shipped to 
Rochester, N. Y. where the funeral was held Friday morning.
