Dr GREVES was the son of the late L B (sic) GREVES, principal of Lincoln School. Born at Piketon, O., he came to Pittsburgh as a child. Dr GREVES was graduated from Lafayette College in 1892 and given the degree of Doctor of Divinity there in 1922. He was graduated from the Western Theological Seminary in 1895. After serving as the first pastor of the Emsworth Presbyterian Church, Dr GREVES was minister of the Forty-third Street Presbyterian Church, Lawrenceville. Surviving are his wife, a sister of Judge E C CHALFANT of Orphans' Court; his mother, Mrs C L GREVES of Wilkinsburg; two daughters, Miss Alice GREVES of New Alexandria and Miss Sarah GREVES of Lock Haven, Pa.; a brother (sic), U Sherman GREVES of Greensburg; and three sisters, Mrs John R HAYS, Pittsburgh, and Mae G ADAMS and Mrs Alice G FLANEGIN of New York City. Funeral services will be held in his church at 2 pm tomorrow. Interment will be in New Alexander (sic) Cemetery. NOTES: Father was Leander Perry GREVES; mother was Clarissa Little BONNER. Wife's name is Mary CHALFANT. The person noted as his brother is actually his son. Sherman died in 1937 in an accident while working on the New Livermore Bridge. Another son, Chalfant, died in 1924 in a cave accident in Colorado. Interment was in New Alexandria Cemetery in Westmoreland County PA.
