All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/allegheny/ ________________________________________________ from The Pittsburgh Press dated Monday, March 31 1890 (page 2): Mrs Rachel HARRISON, wife of George HARRISON, died at her home, about two miles east of this place, in Penn township, near Beulah, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon after a lingering illness. She was in her 57th year, and had been a resident of Penn township for many years past. Deceased possessed a host of friends in this vicinity and was respected by all with whom she came in contact. The tax collector of Wilkinsburg, Wm B HARRISON, is a son. The funeral services, conducted by Rev Ralston, of the Beulah Presbyterian church, will be held at her late home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Beulah cemetery will be the place of interment.
