HERRON
ESTHER SUZANNA VARNER
	Age 88 on Tues. Feb. 2, 1999.  Formerly of Aspinwall, Mrs. Herron 
lived the last five years at Our Lady of Peace Retirement Community in 
Charlottesville, VA. Born April 4, 1910 in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter 
of Walter D. Varner and Nettie Bayne Gray.  She was preceded in death by her 
husband T. Brown Herron, a banker for many years at the Commonwealth Trust 
Company in Aspinwall. Mrs. Herron was graduated from Goucher College in 
Baltimore, MD in 1931 with a B. A. Degree in Elementary Education.  She taught 
in the Aspinwall Public School System where she introduced the Kindergarten 
Program.  A Memorial Service will be held in Aspinwall Presbyterian Church, 
Third St. & Center Ave. on Sat. Feb. 6 at 11 a. m. with the Rev. Dr. Donald M. 
Bolls officiating.  The family will greet friends following the Service at the 
Church.  In lieu of flowers Memorials to The American Lung Assoc., 39 South 
Gate Court, Ste. 132, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.  Interment will be at Allegheny 
Cemetery, Lawrenceville.  Funeral arrangements by Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 
Aspinwall.
