David Holliday, aged 84, died at the Covennanters' Home for Aged on 
Linden avenue, Allegheny, and his remains were interred yesterday in 
Uniondale cemetery. The deceased was a native of Canada, where he lived 
until nearly three years ago. He was an uncle of Postmaster George L. 
Holliday of Pittsburgh. His relatives in Pittsburgh are said not to have 
seen him for ten years or known of his presence in the city until 
notified of his death. The deceased is reputed to have been wealthy some 
years ago.
