She was born in Allegheny and lived her entire life in that city. She was a member of the Observatory Hill Christian Church and was active in all kinds of church work. She took a great deal of interest in the Daughters of Liberty. She was also prominent in the Order of United Americans. She was a daughter of Margaret and Henry PUDDER, one of the pioneer families of Allegheny. Her husband, Thomas HOLMES; one sister, Mrs Mary REAGAN; four sons, Raymond, Harry, Byron and Voigt; and two daughters, Mrs George A EDGIN and Mrs John COLLINS, all of Allegheny, survive. from the Allegheny City Death Records: Mrs Annie HOLMES, aged 52 years 8 months 26 days, married, housewife, died June 29, 1905, acute dementia; daughter of Henry and Margaret H PUDDER; born in Allegheny; lived at 1908 Lithgow; burial in Highwood Cemetery on July 2, 1905.
