from The Pittsburgh Press dated Saturday, March 28 1891  (page 6):

HOLMES - On Friday morning, March 27 1891, Catherine HOLMES, in the
85th year of her age.  Funeral Sunday, March 29, at 2 o'clock pm, from
the residence of her son-in-law, John PAUL, Bogg avenue, Mt
Washington.  Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.

from The Pittsburg Dispatch dated Saturday, March 28 1891  (page 4):

Mrs Catherine HOLMES died suddenly yesterday morning at the residence
of her son-in-law, John PAUL, on Boggs avenue, Thirty-second ward, in
her 85th year.  She had been in feeble health for some time, owing to
her advanced age.  When efforts were made to arouse her yesterday
morning no answer was received.  Upon investigation it was discovered
that she had peacefully passed away during the night.  Funeral
services will be held tomorrow at 2 pm at the residence of John PAUL,
on Boggs avenue.

Catherine HOLMES, aged 84 years, widowed, died March 27 1891, old age;
born in England; lived on Boggs Street; burial in Allegheny Cemetery
on March 29 1891.

Removal dated October 30 1903 to South Side Cemetery.
