from The Pittsburgh Press dated Tuesday, March 22, 1892 (page 6):
 
HOLMES - On Monday morning, March 21, 1892, at 7:15, after a long
lingering illness, George, oldest son of Albert and Elizabeth HOLMES,
in his 43rd year. Funeral services Wednesday at 2 pm, from the
residence of his parents, 60 Liberty street, Allegheny City.
Interment private at a later hour.
 
from the Allegheny City Death Records:
 
George HOLMES, age 42 years 8 months, single, sawyer, died March 21,
1892, pulmonary consumption; son of Albert and Elizabeth HOLMES; born
in NY; lived at 60 Liberty Street; burial in Bellevue Cemetery on
March 23, 1892.
 
 
NOTES:
Bellevue Cemetery is now known as Highwood Cemetery.
 
Children of Albert and Elizabeth are George, Albert Jr, Harry W,
Jennie, Charles W, Frank, and Annie. Charles and Jennie are later
found in Spokane WA and then Seattle WA.
