(page 5):
 
HOLMES - On Saturday, October 15, 1898, at 11:20 am, Levina HOLMES, in
her 78th year. Funeral from her late residence, 4421 Davidson st,
today at 2 pm. Friends of the family are respectfully invited to
attend. Philadelphia and Minneapolis papers please copy.
 
Allegheny Cemetery records note that Levina died at age 77 years 5
months, was born in Clarion Co PA, and died of pneumonia. From son
George's death certificate, her birth name is listed as BALLIETT.
