It is thought he was struck by a train which passed about 3:15 o'clock in the morning. HOLMES, who was 25 years old, was employed as a clerk in the office of the American Bridge Company in the Carnegie building. *********************************************************** from The Pittsburgh Gazette dated Saturday, September 13, 1902: HOLMES - Suddenly, on Friday morning, September 12, 1902, William Cary, son of Joshua and the late Arabella HOLMES, aged 25 years. Funeral services at his residence, 6338 Marchand street, East End, Sunday at 2 pm. Interment private.
