After an illness of a few days with pneumonia, Mrs. M. E. HOPPER died at her 
home, late Friday night, and was brought to the home of her brother, Major 
J. W. NESBIT, of Oakdale, where funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, 
conducted by Rev. W. D. LEWIS, assisted by Rev. W. R. MCMUNN. Interment was 
in the Oakdale cemetery. Mrs. HOPPER was born at Hickman Station, Collier 
township, in 1846. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. R. F. HUNTER of 
Pittsburgh, and a brother, J. W. NESBIT of Oakdale. To the sorrowing 
friends, the community extends their sympathy.
