521-8116.  Mass of Christian Burial St. Stephen Parish, Monday

A Hazelwood woman died Thursday afternoon of burns 
she had received earlier in the day in a fire at her home.

Shirley Jankowski, 61, of 332 Ashton St., had burns over 80 
percent of her body, the coroner's office reported. She died at 
5:16 p.m. in Mercy Hospital.

Jankowski and her husband, Walter, 70, were burned in the fire, 
reported at 1:37 a.m. Walter Jankowski was released yesterday 
from Mercy Hospital.
