JENKINS, who died on Saturday at the Soldiers' Home, Danville, Ill. The remains were brought on Wednesday tot he home of his daughter, Mrs. C. THORN of Coraopolis. Mr. JENKINS was in his 80th year and for the past year had been in very poor health. He was a Civil war veteran and had lived in Noblestown for a number of years and is well known throughout this community. He leaves two sons: Howard and Leslie both of Coraopolis and three daughters, Mrs. Charles THORN of Coraopolis, Mrs. G. W. EAGLESFIELD of Tulsa, Okla. and Mrs. Herb MCMURRAY of Oakdale. His wife having died 33 years ago. The funeral was held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. THORN of Coraopolis on Thursday afternoon, January 19, at 1:30 o'clock, interment was in the Valley cemetery beside his wife.
