It is of my great-grandfather. George Washington Reeher, age 75, a Civil War Veteran, was killed on Sunday morning about 2:30 a.m when he fell from an upstairs window at the home of John Parker of 15 Fisk St. where he was visiting. Reeher suffered prostration from the heat a few days ago and it is supposed that he got out of bed and sought the window to cool off, when a second attack came on and caused him to lose his balance and fall. He plunged headlong a distance of 15 feet. He was a veteran of the Civil War, being a member of the 57th Reg. P.V. He had lived in Wampum and New Castle for many years.
