from The Pittsburgh Press dated Tuesday, September 24 1889  (page 4):

Sarah Lillian JOHNSTON, wife of Charles B JOHNSTON, died yesterday at
her home, 4051 Penn avenue.  She was 29 years of age.  The funeral
services will take place tomorrow afternoon.

from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records:

Sarah Lillian JOHNSTON, aged 29 years, married, died September 23
1889, paralysis paralegica; born in Allegheny; parents from England;
lived at 4051 Penn Avenue, 16th Ward; burial in Hilldale Cemetery on
September 25 1889.


NOTES:
>From census, children are Alice Mary (died 1881) and Irene/Jennie;
also Florence and William, who died in infancy.

Hilldale Cemetery is now known as Union Dale Cemetery.
