Jones, amazing father of Jason William Jones and wife, Nikole Werner. Son of the late Mary Emma (Swan) Jones & Charles Major Jones. Survived by Uncle, Cliff Swan & cousins. Wonderful friends Mark Williams, Amy Berger, Amy & Neil Heller, John Thomson, Richard Shoup, Barry & Becky Catelinet, Fred Pfennig, Bill Bickel, Chris & Carol Madeya. A graduate of North Hills High School; Carnegie Mellon University, School of Music, Class of 1967; Master's from Duquesne University. Cliff's professor at CMU was the late Philip Catelinet of Broadstairs, England. Jones was in "Pippin", written by Stephen Schwartz. A Tubist in the Kiltie Marching/Concert Band, CMU Brass Choir, CMU Community Orchestra, River City Brass Band, Allegheny Brass Band and Carnegie Civic Symphony. He was a Brass Coach for Duquesne University's Band Tour of Europe, a Band Director/Music Teacher at McKeesport Area School District, a Brass Coach for East Allegheny High School Band, and also was the President of Lacrosse Club for Central Catholic. In retirement, Cliff was a Chauffeur for Embassy Coach. There will be NO VISITATION. A Tribute will be held in October, 2009.
