Lindsay JONES (colored) aged 71 years, was found dead in his 
home in North street on Wednesday morning. Mr. JONES lived alone and was 
last seen on Sunday. Neighbors seeing his horse in his garden, thought it 
strange, and upon investigation, found that he was dead. Decomposition had 
set in.
 
Mr. JONES is survived by one son, Clifford, who is employed on a 
farm near here. Interment was in the Robinson Run cemetery Wednesday 
afternoon.
