Pittsburgh Post Gazette - April 15, 1938
JONES-On December 20, 1937, Susan E. (nee Wright), widow of the late Philip 
Jones, Senior.  Remains at the Samuel B. Fryer Funeral Home, Bridgeville, Pa.  
Services on Saturday, April 16, 1938, at 2:30 p. m. at Bridgeville M. E. 
Church.  Friends invited.

Additional Comments:
On December 20, 1937, Susan E. Wright Jones disappeared after a brief visit to 
neighbors.  The Police Chief said he found footprints in the mud on the bank 
of the Chartiers creek.  That indicated to him, he said, that Mrs. Jones 
wandered into the swift current and was carried away.  Due to the excessive 
flooding, time passed before her body was located, therefore the interval 
between the drowning and the date of obituary.
