JORDAN, daughter of Mrs. Mae JORDAN was called to her eternal home, aged 19 years. She had been a sufferer for the past two years from a complication of diseases, which neither love nor medical skill could overcome. After calmly leaving her parting message, the golden gates were opened and a gentle voice said "Come" and her soul went out to God. Funeral services were held on Friday at 2 P. M. from her late residence, Spring street, Oakdale conducted by her pastor, Dr. FRANTZ and Dr. MCJUNKIN, a quartette choir rendered fine music. Deepest sympathy goes out from the many friends of Oakdale to the sorrowing mother and grandparents, bereft of an only child and also grandchild. Her father died 8 years ago at Coleport, Pa., where he was President of the Exchange Bank. Miss JORDON was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church of Oakdale and one of the honor pupils of Oakdale school. To know her was but to love her. Beautiful in life, she was lovely in death among the many floral tributes of her friends. Her remains were laid to rest in the Oakdale cemetery.
