Mr. Kirkpatrick was born in Scotland, and came to Turtle Creek in 1862, where he has lived since. He was a member of the Presbyterian church of Turtle Creek, Clan Robinson of the Scottish Clan and Kilwinning Lodge, F & A. M. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Catharine Foulds Kirkpatrick: three daughters, Mrs. Anna Bochman, Mrs. Mary Curmack and Mrs. Catharine Patterson; two sons, James and Andrew Kirkpatrick; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of Turtle Creek.
