"Butch" Butch passed away peacefully in his home on June 5, 2009 after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was born on January 25, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA to Edward and Mary Kosinski, retired to Florida, and most recently made his home in Herriman, Utah. He served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955. He married Claire Jenemann on October 22, 1955 and began his career as a plumber, teacher, and plumbing inspector in Pittsburgh, PA. Butch loved his family, his cats, and his tv. One of his favorite pastimes was telling jokes: "What did the shark say when he bit a clown?" (You taste funny). He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed gifting his creations to loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife, Claire ("My Granny"); children: Leonard Kosinski, Woodstock, GA; James (Susan) Kosinski, Palm City, Fl.; Beth (Brian) Winkempleck, Riverton, UT; grandchildren: Mary, Leonard, Joyce, Megan, Maxwell; brother, Alphonse; sister, Camille; many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by parents; siblings: Frank, Chester, Raymond, Frances, and daughter-in-law, Carla. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 240 E. 5600 So. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the BROOMHEAD FUNERAL HOME, 12600 So. 2200 W. and Friday one hour prior at the church.
