H. KRAUSE Mrs. Rezzie Krause, aged 72 years, wife of B. H. Krause, of 931 Rose Street died this morning at 1:30 o'clock after a brief illness from pneumonia. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with interment at Elrod cemetery. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- MCKEESPORT DAILY NEWS, February 2, 1935 p. 15 (Allegheny County) B. H. KRAUSE B. H. Krause, 88, a resident of McKeesport for nearly 59 years and one of the charter members of Gemulas Chesed synagogue died yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home, 506 Mulberry street. (sic) Mr. Krause was born in Austria-Hungary and came to McKeesport in 1876, residing here ever since. He was the third member of the Gemulas Chesed congregation and had always been active in the affairs of the synagogue. His wife, Mrs. Rose Krause, died in January, 1923. Surviving are four sons and a daughter, Samuel, John and David Krause all of Braddock, Benjamin Krause of McKeesport and Mrs. Rose S. Stern of East Pittsburgh: 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; also a brother, Max G. Krause of Brownsville. Funeral services will be held tomorrrow afternoon, with interment taking place at Elrod cemetery. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- MCKEESPORT DAILY NEWS, January 20, 1945 (Allegheny County) MAX KRAUSE Max G. Krause, 87, a former resident of McKeesport and Brownsville died yesterday morning in Lorain, O. The body is being brought to the Fait Funeral Home where services will be held tomorrow at 1 PM in charge of Rabbi M. N. Stiskin. Burial will be in Elrod Cemetery. Mr. Krause was a charter member of the Gemulas Chesed Synagogue. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Annie Schwartz of Brownsville, Mrs. Joseph Deutch of Lorain; and Mrs. Sam Hepps of Homestead; four sons, David of Lorain, Jake of Detroit, Mich; Herbert of Chicago; and Charles of Yuma, Ariz: 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- MCKEESPORT DAILY NEWS, February 7, 1944 (Allegheny County) MRS. CLARA KLEIN Mrs. Clara Klein of 1024 Braddock Ave., Braddock, who died early today was buried in Elrod Cemetery this afternoon following funeral services in charge of Rabbi M. N. Stiskin and the Rev. Jacob Sicherman. She is survived by three sons, Henry B., Alihu, and M. J. Klein of McKeesport; a daughter, Mrs. Gizella Krause, with whom she made her home: 17 grandchildren: 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lazear Klein, of Pittsburgh. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- MCKEESPORT DAILY NEWS, June 17, 1935 (Allegheny County) NATHAN KLEIN Nathan Klein, 80, of 516 Hazel Street, who retired 25 years ago as a McKeesport merchant, died yesterday morning. He had been a resident of McKeesport for 59 years. He is survivied by his wife, Clara Klein; three son, Morris J., Henry B. and Alihu Klein of McKeesport and a daughter, Mrs. Samuel M. Krause of Braddock. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon with burial in Elrod cemetery.
