Soldiers Home - Member, Aged 83 Has Gone Beyond Elias H. Laughlin Dies In 
Hospital
Elias H. Laughlin, age 83, who was admittted from Massillon, June 22, 1903, 
died in the hospital at 1 a.m. Thursday.  He served six months in the Civil 
war as a private in Co. B. 6th U.S. Cavalry and was a pensioner at $30.00 a 
month. A son, Elias J. Laughlin, of Massillon has been notified.

Elias joined the Calvary Aug 8, 1861, Pittsburgh, Pa  and was honorably 
discharged at Light Horse Point Aug 8, 1864. Returned home to Pine Run, 
Allegheny Co., Pa.
