JOHN LEINWAND

  John Leinwand died this morning at 7:30 o'clock 
at his home, No. 1335 Tube Works Alley.  He had 
been in poor health for some time.  Deceased was 
born in Germany in 1841.  He served in the German 
war of 1866.  He was 58 years and seven months old.  
He is survived by a wife and family of eight 
daughters, namely, Mrs. Annie Linder, Mrs. Rose 
Frowerk, Mrs. Lizzie Bittner, Mrs. Mary Clickler, 
the Misses Bertha, Julia, Winnie and Tena, residing 
at home.  The funeral will take place on Monday 
morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's German Catholic 
Church; interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
