We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pittsburgh Press, Tuesday, 03 November 1970 - MISS SARA ELIZABETH ABEER LESNETT, a retired school teacher in the South Fayette and Upper St. Clair schools for 49 years, died yesterday in McMurray Hill Manor Nursing Home, Peters Twp. Miss Lesnett, 78, of 231 Old Lesnett Road, Upper St. Clair, was a 1913 graduate of California State Normal School, Washington County, and was the first woman elder in the Bethany United Presbyterian Church, Bridgeville. She was a superintendent of the Sunday school. She was also a member of the Upper St. Clair Grange, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Eastern Star. She is survived by three brothers, THOMAS D. JR., FREDERICK and MEALY; and two sisters, MRS. MARY WICKS and MRS. VIRGINIA LONGWELL. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Fryer Funeral Home, 729 Washington Ave., Bridgeville. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Church. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery, Bridgeville.
