LEVAN - CORRESPONDENCE - Altoona, August 30th, 1872 Mr. John Levan, of 
Pittsburg, father of John P. Levan, of this city, general foreman of the Altoona 
car shops died at the above place on Tueday last. His remains were brought to 
this place for interment.
