from The Pittsburgh Press dated Sunday, March 23 1890  (page 2):

Maria LOOMEY, 60 years old and for 11 years an inmate in the Mercy
hospital, died yesterday morning and was buried in the afternoon.

from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records:

Maria TOOMEY, aged 70 years, single, cook, died March 21 1890,
pneumonia; born in Ireland; parents of Ireland; in Mercy Hospital for
approx 12 years; burial in St Mary's Cemetery on March 22 1890.


NOTES:
Found in 1880 census in Mercy Hospital with fractured limb at age 76.

Can not reconcile the age differences.
