Daily Pittsburgh Gazette, Tues. April 12,1864
On Monday, the 11th inst., at 5 o'clock p.m. James Lowry Sr. His funeral will 
take place from his late residence on Quarry Street between Walnut and O'Hara, 
Fifth Ward, on Wednesday April 13, at 2 o'clock p.m. to proceed to the 
Allegheny Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
James Lowry Sr. was the father of James Jr, Mayor of Pittsburgh, 1864-1866.
