Died at Herriottsville, Pa., October 22d, 1862, Mr. John McEwen, in the 66th year of
his age. He was born in Dauphin County, Pa. In childhood he removed with his
parents, to Allegheny County, where in early life he made a profession of religion
in connection with the Associate Reformed church of Robinson’s Run. Nearly forty
years ago he became a member of the Presbyterian church of Bethany...
