All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/allegheny/ ________________________________________________ Taken from McDonald Pa Outlook 02 Feb 1922 The body of Jules MALATRE, who died in a field hospital in France from wounds received, November 2, 1918 in the battle of the Argonne, arrived at the home of his sister, Mrs. Louis FOLCHER of Valley street, Wednesday morning. He was a member of the 319th Inf., Co. K, 80th Division. Mr. MALATRE left for Camp Lee, Va., from Monessen in April of 1917 and left for France May 18, 1917. He was born August 10, 1890 and came to this country from France fifteen years ago. He is survived by his father and one brother, in France, and a sister, Mrs. Louis FOLCHER of McDonald. Funeral services will be held in the United Presbyterian church at two o'clock in charge of Ernest Phillips Post No. 485, American Legion.
