L. MCCALMONT, aged 56 years, died suddenly at 9:45 o'clock Tuesday night at this home, 420 Pressley avenue, Northside, Pittsburgh. While attending a prayer meeting service at a Presbyterian church he was stricken ill and died a short time after being removed to his home. He had enjoyed excellent health previously. His death was the second in the family in about two months. Mrs. James MANSON, a sister, dying only a few weeks ago. A brother-in-law, William E. LANE< also stricken and died suddenly within that period. Mr. MCCALMONT was born at Hickory, being a son of Alexander and Mary ALLISON MCCALMONT. He resided in Pittsburgh for a number of years, being employed as a salesman by the Schroeder Piano company. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church. Mr. MCCALMONT married Miss Helen KENDRICK, who survives with three sons, Wilson MCCALMONT of Avalon, and William and Lewis MCCALMONT at home. Two brothers and four sisters survive: Mrs. A. V. LINDSEY, of near Canonsburg; J. A. MCCALMONT, Mrs. W. J. CONNER and Mrs. Lillian LANE, of Washington; S. A. MCCALMONT and Mrs. Maude MCCABE, of Hickory. Funeral services will be held (this) Thursday afternoon at the MCCALMONT home in Pittsburgh. Interment will be private.
