from The Pittsburgh Press dated Saturday, October 27, 1894 (page 6):
 
Mrs Matilda L McILVAINE, widow of Isaac W McILVAINE, and mother of
Warren J McILVAINE, for years an officer at the courthouse, now of the
Thirty-second ward, died yesterday at the age of 74 years. The
interment will take place on Sunday afternoon, from the old PATTERSON
homestead.
 
 
from the Registration of Deaths in West Liberty Borough:
 
Matilda McILWANE, age 74 years, married, daughter of John and
Elizabeth PATTERSON, born in Pittsburgh, housewife, died October 26,
1894, of old age, burial in family cemetery on October 28, 1894.
 
 
NOTES:
 
The 'family cemetery' may be on or near 'the old PATTERSON homestead'
in Lower St Clair / West Liberty borough.
 
From the census, there are four known children: Sarah, Gilbert,
Warren, and Algernon.
